Since 2015, the Mirja Sachs Foundation, together with McKinsey for Children, has supported an orphanage in Moldova. Children who have been victims of human trafficking are being looked after. On their own, many children are left to their fate, poorly fed, can not read and write and are in poor physical condition. The project “Hope for Children” takes care of these children: gives them a home, allows them education, medical care and also makes their free time with the help of educators and many volunteer helpers. The Mirja-Sachs-Foundation takes over the annual costs of 28 children’s children.
